As Membership Relations Manager, you are the beating heart of the community - the one who remembers how people take their coffee, what they're working on, and who they should meet. You don't wait for connections to happen; you make them.

Making members feel at home - and helping them meet each other - is what this role is all about. Our community is as diverse as it gets: entrepreneurs, creatives, and students who actually live here at The Social Hub. Some people walk in not knowing a soul. You change that. You spot who should know who. That's the magic you make happen.

You keep that sense of belonging alive both on the floor and online, through our app and community channels. You gather member feedback, lead the Membership Hosts team, and keep a sharp eye on the things that matter - retention, satisfaction, and the kind of loyalty that can't be faked. This is not a desk job. Your office is the floor, the events, the conversations. You flex your schedule so you're always where the members are.

About The Social Hub

The Social Hub offers an environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play - and be themselves. As an employer, it combines hospitality with student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bar and eat & drink spaces, as well as community and coworking spaces. The company operates across The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, and the UK, with new openings on the way.

What You'll Do

  • Drive membership retention and loyalty - you own the NPS and retention targets, and you take them seriously
  • Build genuine relationships with members, and between members - you actively introduce people and spark collaborations
  • Be a strong floor presence: proactively checking in, reading the room, and spotting opportunities to bring the right people together
  • Manage the digital community on our app, keeping engagement alive online and offline
  • Collect and act on member feedback to continuously improve the experience and align with community needs
  • Handle issues with confidence and empathy - and know when to escalate
  • Host and engage your local member committee, using them as a sounding board and advisory voice
  • Lead and support the team of Membership Hosts
  • Work closely with the programming team to translate community wishes into killer events - and jump in to support when it's all hands on deck

What You'll Have

  • 2+ years of experience in community management, hospitality, membership, or a people-first role
  • You're a natural connector - you love people and people love you back
  • Strong communication skills, both in conversation and in writing
  • Empathy and active listening come naturally to you
  • You're outgoing, confident, and totally at home in front of a crowd
  • An entrepreneurial spirit - you spot opportunities and take initiative
  • You're calm under pressure and good at finding solutions that work for everyone
  • Comfortable working evenings and weekends when the community calls for it
  • Fluent in English. Dutch is a pre. Other languages are a bonus
  • A bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to work at a dynamic, multi-national company
  • The opportunity to work for a Certified B Corp® company that balances profit with positive impact
  • The chance to learn and grow in your role with the potential for future growth
  • Awesome discounts in all our properties in Europe for you, your friends and family
