The internship

We are a trailblazing beer brand, renowned for our coolness and popularity among young adult consumers. Our unique fusion of beer with Latin spirit has revolutionized the category making us pioneers. The essence of Latin spirit - daring, vibrant, authentic, spontaneous and fun is at our core. This grants us the credentials to create the best letting loose moments.

How will you make an impact?

Digital & Social Media

  • Improve the way we organize the day-to-day activities of Desperados social media platforms.
  • Develop the monthly calendar for our social platforms and cascade it to our markets.
  • Work with our social media agency to find best practices in our operating countries. Leverage the community learnings and reapply in other markets.
  • Pilot social media innovations and improve how we communicate with our consumers.

Event Sponsorship Management

  • Manage our worldwide calendar of sponsorships.
  • Work with markets to amplify our global partnerships and global activations.
  • Build communication plans and assets for our global party sponsorships. Leverage it in different countries.
  • Support bringing events to life, in collaboration with partners globally or in markets.

Internal conference

  • Support the brand team for the company’s annual conference in developing and coordinating the event.

Desperados Team Support and Internal Communications

  • Become the go-to individual for accessing global tools such as the internal website and assets platform.

Conditions of HEINEKEN

  1. You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during your onboarding.
  2. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
  3. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
  4. You reside in the Netherlands for the entire duration of your internship. Please note that HEINEKEN does not provide housing.
  5. You are in possession of a valid citizen service number (BSN).

Our Internship Conditions

  • A full-time internship, starting on September 1, 2026.
  • The duration of the internship is 6 months (to be agreed upon with your internship supervisor).
  • At HEINEKEN, we work with a hybrid model, typically spending three days a week at the office and two days working from home.
  • You will receive a monthly internship allowance of €650 gross based on a 40-hour workweek.
  • You will earn 2 vacation days per month (based on a full-time internship).
  • If you do not have a public transport student subscription, your commuting costs will be fully reimbursed.
