As Proposal Engineer, you will make a positive contribution to the Functional Discipline Engineering within Royal IHC. Part of this discipline is the Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) department, which helps customers make adaptations and upgrades to integrated equipment, systems, and structures. This includes the engineering of modifications, renovations, and improvements to equipment and systems.

Within LCE, the Proposal Engineer is engaged throughout the entire flow, starting at lead generation up to after sales. Using legacy data and knowledge holders, you generate solutions and provide these to internal customers. Your engagement starts by joining and supporting the sales colleagues during the lead generation process. When bidding for conversion and renovation projects, you will supply the cost estimation and quotation for the engineering part of the EPCI contract. In case of engineering-only tenders, you will manage the complete proposal process.
For all orders that are won, you will act as a contact person to the client and help the project manager define change orders. At the end of the order, you will be involved in the lessons learned session, which can be implemented in your next quotation.
