Purpose

The Group Contract Management Director develops the Contract Management strategy for SBM. You coordinate and manage the structure, resources, processes and procedures to ensure optimized Contract Management enablement to the business to maximize opportunity and mitigate risks. You provide Contract Management guidance and support across the business to key stakeholders and Executive Leadership.

Responsibilities

  • You develop the CM strategy for SBM.
  • You provide expertise and support for CM across W & G, turnkey, and Operations to key stakeholders and Executive Management.
  • You ensure fully resourced and adapted personnel, adherence to best practices and procedures.
  • You coordinate and interface with key stakeholders to ensure adapted support.
  • You optimize Contract Management for the business.
  • You develop and manage strategies for Contract Management.
  • You oversee personnel development and organization.
  • You develop and maintain good communications.
  • You coordinate interfaces with other disciplines at the group level.
  • You continuously optimize and standardize practices and processes.
  • You assess risks and opportunities, and drive strategy and development.

Education

Degree or MBA in one of the following disciplines: Business Management, Law, Construction Law, Engineering or Quantity Surveying.

Experience

  • 20+ years of experience covering all aspects of contract management including Claims, EPCI, and subcontract management.
  • Broad experience in sales and lease contracts, in executing contract negotiation and claims.
  • Experience of project execution interface.
  • Experience within the Oil & Gas industry preferred.

SBM Offshore provides floating production solutions to the offshore energy industry, over the full product life-cycle. The Company is market leading in leased floating production systems with multiple units currently in operation and has unrivalled operational experience in this field. The Company’s main activities are the design, supply, installation, operation and the life extension of Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels. These are either owned and operated by SBM Offshore and leased to its clients or supplied on a turnkey sale basis.
