At Yuki, you will join the Growth Team as a Tech Lead within the development organization, focusing on building features that drive commercial growth. Your mission is to build and optimize features that directly drive business growth, such as cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within the platform. You enable the team to move fast, experiment with new revenue-driving features, and turn commercial insights into scalable technical solutions.

As a Tech Lead, you will focus entirely on code quality, architectural integrity, and the successful delivery of the roadmap. You will stay hands-on by developing within your scrum squad while acting as the technical bridge between product and execution. This role allows you to stay dedicated to engineering, as people-management responsibilities such as career growth and 1-on-1s are handled by Software Development Managers.

About Yuki

Yuki is an international IT scale-up and a leading innovator in accounting and financial administration, supporting accountants, businesses, and entrepreneurs in making accounting more efficient, simple, and enjoyable. As a product-driven organization, Yuki delivers a business-critical SaaS solution used by over 130,000 companies and hundreds of accountancy firms across The Netherlands.

We need you to keep our users happy, by building out and improving our easy-to-use, self-learning, and highly automated financial administration software.

What you will be doing

  • You act as the technical authority within the "Trio" (Product Owner, Designer, and Tech Lead), ensuring that the product roadmap is technically feasible and optimized for long-term scalability.
  • Delivery & roadmap: You are responsible for the technical delivery of the team. You set priorities, manage the technical roadmap, and ensure that milestones are met.
  • Architecture & strategy: You oversee the technical direction of the squad, identifying potential improvements in solutions and leading initiatives that push the stack (both .NET and Vue.js) forward.
  • Hands-on development: You lead by example. You remain actively involved in the codebase, delivering high-performing features and solving complex technical challenges alongside your team.
  • Quality: You safeguard engineering standards by conducting code reviews, ensuring that the team produces readable, maintainable, and secure code.
  • Cross-functional alignment: You collaborate directly with other Tech Leads, the CTO, and Software Development Managers to align goals with the broader organizational architecture.
  • Mentorship: You act as a mentor for other developers, helping them sharpen their technical skills and adopt best practices, without being responsible for formal HR or growth cycles.

What you will bring to the team

  • At least 5+ years of experience in software development, with mastery of the .NET ecosystem (C# and SQL Server) being a big plus.
  • Previous experience in a lead role or as a senior developer where you were responsible for technical roadmaps and delivery.
  • A solid understanding of web, SPA, and component architecture, as well as backend design patterns and database optimization.
  • You are passionate about writing clear, maintainable code and utilizing industry-standard practices and testing frameworks.
  • You have a strong sense of ownership over the squad's output and know how to prioritize technical tasks to meet business goals.
  • Solid knowledge of web security, cross-browser compatibility, and API development (RESTful).
  • You are a strong communicator who can translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (PO/Design).

What's in it for you

At Yuki, the team is empowered so they can empower users. Here’s what is offered:

  • Personal development: A generous training budget, available directly after your probation period, for specialized certifications, courses, and training to solidify your technical expertise.
  • Time off and flexibility: 28 vacation days (and the option to buy 5 extra days), plus the possibility of Workation: up to 5 weeks per year of remote work.
  • Well-being & focus: Access to lifestyle coaches, healthy lunches and other initiatives that contribute to well-being and focus, including the possibility to lease a bike via Lease-a-bike.
  • Financial security: A competitive base salary with attractive benefits, such as full pension coverage.
  • Optimal workplace: The best hardware, including a home-office budget to set up your remote workspace.
  • Plenty of opportunities: Enjoy the speed and autonomy of an innovative scale-up, backed by the stability, vast resources, and global career network of the Visma Group.
  • Team & culture: Participate in team-building days and other Yuki events that strengthen the close team spirit in a diverse and international environment.
