As Security Risk Officer, you are responsible for strengthening and modernizing processes to ensure that colleagues can operate the electricity system.

You will be part of the Management Services team, consisting of twelve colleagues. Together, you will work on the integrated security management of the Operate division, an essential task for a stable and sustainable energy supply. Our team thrives in a collaborative culture, where innovation and collaboration are central.

As Operate, we are responsible for operating the electricity system as well as ensuring a well-functioning electricity market. Within the Management Services team, we are responsible for ensuring that the processes within System Operations function according to our standards (ISO 9001 and ISO 270001). We are a team of advisors that develop and implement improvements in different areas, including Security Management (ISO 270001).

You will be responsible for:

• Developing specific guidance for security risk management based on the organization’s strategic security policies and translating these into tactical policies and goals
• Monitoring the activities of the organization and advising on projects and tactical and operational management as part of the implementation of security policies and guidelines
• Advising on formulating and implementing appropriate security risk management measures and security controls
• Establishing the capability to direct and monitor security from an end-to-end process and unit perspective (tactical governance)
• Planning and supporting security risk management activities such as risk assessments and workshops, control effectiveness reporting, and related activities

Your background:

• Five plus years of relevant working experience in information security risk management
• Good knowledge of frameworks like ISO 27001 and COSO
• Good verbal and written language skills in Dutch (B2 level) and English
• A team player with strong influencing skills and a positive mindset that seeks opportunities
• Experience in the energy system is a pre
