As our MarCom Intern, you’ll play a vital role in the TSH Talent Foundation team in Amsterdam, helping bring our mission to life through compelling content and clear communication.

You’ll support the creation and scheduling of LinkedIn content for the Foundation and leadership, contribute to website updates, and help with Public Relations and Public Affairs-related activities, with the possibility to get involved in Instagram content too.

You’ll be part of a small, purpose-driven team, working closely with the Global Marketing & Communications Manager while also connecting with the wider The Social Hub office environment, giving you exposure to both small-team and large-team dynamics.

This role offers a mix of independent ownership and guidance, so you’ll have the space to learn, contribute ideas, and grow your skills along the way. We move quickly, collaborate closely, and value people who are organised, creative, curious, and open to feedback. You’ll definitely make mistakes now and then — we all do — but we care about learning, improving, and doing better next time.

About the company

Known for being the rule breakers in hospitality, TSH is a fun, creative and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play and most importantly – be themselves.

As an employer we look, act and think like a hotel, but instead we offer a lot more. Think student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bar and eat & drink escapes as well as community and coworking spaces.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create and post engaging LinkedIn content for the Foundation and leadership, helping us share stories, updates, and impact in a clear and compelling way.
  • Support the development of social media assets, including being on-set during photoshoots and video shoots, with a focus on LinkedIn, and contribute to visual content using Canva or Adobe where possible.
  • Assist with Press Relations and Public Affairs-related tasks, such as drafting written statements.
  • Support content creation for other channels, including Instagram and the website when relevant, following our brand voice.
  • Assist with content planning, storytelling, and possible interview-based content that brings our mission and people to life.
  • Work in a structured and highly organised way to keep projects moving and deadlines on track.
  • Help with ad-hoc marketing tasks such as, but not limited to creating or updating powerpoints and documents, helping to manage website content updates, or monitoring content performance.

What You’ll Have:

  • You are a master’s student, preferably in marketing, communication, media, design, or a related field.
  • You have an interest in writing and content creation, and you enjoy creating engaging, audience-friendly content.
  • You have a strong interest in social impact, education, and the mission of TSH Talent Foundation.
  • Graphic design experience or a background in design is a plus, and familiarity with Canva or Adobe is welcome.
  • You identify as “Type A”, are highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks at once.
  • You are open to feedback, eager to learn, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

What We Offer

  • A great work environment with a fun vibe, where you’ll get a taste of what it’s like to work at a small team and a big company at the same time!
  • On-the-job coaching and guidance with real-work experiences
  • Monthly compensation for your internship (please note that travel costs are not reimbursed)
  • The opportunity to work and learn at a dynamic and international organization. As a Certified B Corp®, The Social Hub balances profit with positive impact, especially because of our work with TSH Talent Foundation and Movement on the Ground.
  • Access to many of The Social Hub’s facilities, including our employee cafeteria (in Amsteldok) and more. Did we mention you also get a discount on hotel stays and Food and Drinks?

The Social Hub is much more than a hotel. In our boundary-blurring spaces we bring together a new generation of bold change-makers to connect, learn, stay, work, and play. Creating memorable experiences for our community of hotel guests, students, creatives, enterprising minds and anyone in between.
