Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all Treasury accounting activities whilst maintaining robust financial controls. As a Treasury Accountant, you'll be instrumental in processing and reconciling Treasury transactions, supporting cash flow forecasting, and executing critical internal controls that safeguard the organisation's financial operations.

Your role in our shared journey

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Monitor and reconcile in-house bank general ledger accounts and foreign exchange trading transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Execute J-SOX internal controls accurately and in a timely manner whilst maintaining full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Gather and consolidate cash flow forecast inputs from various systems and departments for comprehensive treasury planning.
  • Support external and internal audits by providing complete documentation and ensuring audit findings are addressed appropriately.
  • Provide weekly treasury clearing files to the Cash Application team to facilitate efficient payment allocation and reconciliation processes.
  • Act as a business partner with key stakeholders including Cash Application, Financial Control, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Legal and Internal Audit teams.
  • Process payments-on-behalf of group entities and efficiently handle rejected or returned payments through the in-house banking system.
  • Backup for other Treasury team members

You have the following skills:

  • Master's or bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • Experience with SAP or SAP S/4HANA systems is a must
  • Strong analytical abilities with high attention to detail and first-time-right mentality.
  • Proactive and problem-solving mindset
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting.
