Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager who wants to combine engineering excellence, leadership, and performance responsibility in a dynamic and fast-evolving environment. In the Rotterdam region, you will manage complex infrastructure and energy transition projects and play a key role in delivering high-value solutions to strategic clients within Energy & Transport.

About the role

As Project / Delivery Manager, you will take full ownership of a portfolio of infrastructure and energy projects with strong performance commitments (Quality, Cost & Delivery).

The role combines strategic oversight with operational leadership, working closely with international engineering teams and key stakeholders across the Energy & Transport sectors.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Leading and coordinating multiple technical projects within energy systems, electrification, mobility, or infrastructure
• Ensuring delivery according to QCD targets and contractual commitments
• Managing international and multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Driving planning, resource allocation, and financial tracking
• Identifying and mitigating operational and regulatory risks
• Acting as the key client interface and leading governance meetings
• Monitoring KPIs, project performance, and profitability
• Supporting bid preparation and technical proposals

What we are looking for

You are structured, proactive, and confident in leading both technical experts and client discussions. You thrive in environments where operational excellence, accountability, and long-term partnerships are essential.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience
• At least 4 years managing performance-driven technical projects
• A Bachelor from an engineering school or holder of a Master’s degree in a technical field
• Strong stakeholder and team leadership skills
• Experience in Energy, Renewables, Infrastructure, or Transport sectors
• Fluent English (Dutch strongly preferred)
