Shape the tax strategy of a global Animal Nutrition & Health business.

As Global Head of Group Tax – Essential Products company, you will lead tax strategy, safeguard the business’s tax position, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership—enabling confident decision-making, compliant growth, and strong governance.

Your key responsibilities

  • Define and lead the Essential tax strategy, safeguarding the company’s tax position while considering increased public scrutiny, reputational risk, and ethical standards.
  • Optimize the global tax and customs position across Essential products, including indirect taxes, transfer pricing, supply chain, group financing, M&A, and evolving frameworks such as Pillar II.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage tax and customs risks and opportunities, driving effective implementation across business units, regions, and countries.
  • Monitor and analyze global tax developments, translating regulatory changes into clear implications and actions for the Essentials business.
  • Lead tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities worldwide, influencing local management and finance teams to act in line with tax policies, even where interests may conflict.
  • Act as the Essential products tax center of expertise, developing and deploying tax policies, building tax awareness, and independently executing tax matters within Group Tax governance.

We offer

  • A truly international mindset and culture, where global and regional activities are tightly linked.
  • A flexible work environment that empowers people to take accountability for their work and own the outcome.
  • The opportunity to work for a company where sustainability is much more than a claim and is core to our strategy and purpose.
  • Barrier-free communities within our organization where every employee is equally valued and respected, regardless of their background, beliefs, or identity.

You bring

  • An academic degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in international tax.
  • Extensive experience in international tax roles, ideally gained within a multinational or complex global organization, with exposure to group tax environments.
  • Broad knowledge of domestic and international tax matters, including tax structures, planning, and fiscal sensitivities across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Fluency in business English is required; additional languages are an advantage and valued in our global environment.
