Damen is a global, family-owned shipbuilding company with a strong focus on innovation, craftsmanship and sustainable entrepreneurship. Within Damen Global Support BV, specialist expertise supports the Damen businesses worldwide, including finance, tax, legal and compliance.
To strengthen the global tax function, Damen is looking for a Tax Manager.
The role
As Tax Manager, you play a key role in shaping, safeguarding and further developing Damen’s global tax position. This is not a purely operational role: you work at both a strategic and hands-on level and have a direct impact on policy, compliance and decision-making across an international organization.
You will join a close-knit tax team of four professionals and report directly to the Head of Tax. Due to Damen’s global footprint, this role places you at the center of complex international tax matters, while offering significant room for personal and professional growth.
Key accountabilities
In this role, you take ownership of core direct tax processes and ensure that Damen’s Tax Control Framework is robust, future-proof and well embedded throughout the organization.
Own & implement
You are responsible for key direct tax areas, including:
Connect & collaborate
Lead projects & strategy
Advise & support
Skills & Experience
You are more than a technical tax specialist — you are a connector, a strategic thinker and a future leader.
