As a senior leader within the Digital Commerce organization, the Sr. Manager, Pure Play Wholesale is responsible for setting the strategic direction and driving the execution of the EMEA pure-play wholesale digital business.

As a senior leader within the Digital Commerce organization, the Senior Manager Pure Play Wholesale is responsible for setting the strategic direction and driving the execution of the EMEA pure-play wholesale digital business. This role plays a critical part in accelerating growth with key European digital partners such as Amazon and Zalando, while ensuring a premium, consistent and consumer centric brand experience across these platforms.
Reporting directly to the Senior Director Digital Commerce EMEA, this role is a member of the Digital Commerce Leadership Team and acts as a key connector between wholesale, marketplace and digital teams. Given the strategic importance of pure-play partners within the European digital ecosystem, the role requires strong cross-functional leadership and close collaboration with marketplace, merchandising, planning, marketing, finance, supply chain and operations teams to deliver profitable growth, operational excellence and long-term partner value.
The Senior Manager Pure Play Wholesale owns the commercial performance of the channel, including full P&L accountability, and leads strategic planning, in-season execution and partner relationship management to maximize revenue, margin and brand equity across EMEA. The role also includes managing and developing a high-performing team.
Your Impact
- Define and execute the EMEA pure-play wholesale digital strategy, aligned with regional digital commerce and brand objectives.
- Own and grow strategic relationships with key European digital partners including Amazon, Zalando and About You, acting as the senior commercial and strategic point of contact.
- Develop and execute joint business plans, category strategies and long-term growth roadmaps with wholesale digital partners.
- Own the P&L and financial revenue targets for the pure-play wholesale channel, driving ambitious, profitable and sustainable growth.
- Analyze and optimize key commercial KPIs including revenue, margin, growth rate, WOS and operational performance and translate data into clear, actionable recommendations to improve business outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Ensure a premium and consistent Under Armour consumer experience across partner platforms, thinking beyond wholesale execution to elevate brand presentation, content, assortment and service levels.
- Drive operational and commercial efficiency by leveraging partners’ marketplace capabilities, scale and data insights.
- Lead cross-functional planning and execution across wholesale marketing, merchandising, planning, operations and supply chain teams to deliver agreed strategies and targets.
- Identify risks and opportunities within the partner ecosystem and proactively implement corrective actions.
- Act as a senior stakeholder internally, influencing decision making and ensuring strong alignment between wholesale, marketplace and brand teams.
- Foster a proactive, agile and customer focused mindset across all stakeholders involved in the pure-play wholesale business.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two marketplace specialists.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on innovation, agility, and results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Commerce or a related field.
- 8–10 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in direct account management of Amazon and Zalando within a digital or wholesale environment.
- Proven experience owning and managing P&L and financial targets within a complex, multi-market setup.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic insights and actionable business decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute category strategies and joint business plans with large digital partners.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior external partners.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization; people management experience is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics, wholesale economics and digital consumer behavior.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and consistently deliver against commitments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German is a plus.
- Experience in the Sport or Fashion industry is highly desirable.
