This internship offers the opportunity to be an integral part of the People Business Partner team supporting Enterprise Operations & Services and Patient Safety & Quality.

In this role, you will support and execute people-related projects in close partnership with HR colleagues and the business areas you support. With your growth as a priority, you will gain hands-on experience in business partnering while contributing to impactful initiatives such as capability-building programs, learning and development initiatives, and early-career development programs. You will work in a dynamic and diverse environment with a strong sense of purpose, where your work directly impacts our people and helps improve the lives of patients.

Your Team:

  • You will be part of a team of senior HR business partners and other interns working within the people function for Enterprise Operations & Services and Patient Safety & Quality. Your colleagues will be engaged in different projects and functions, providing a rich and collaborative environment.

Your role:

  • Take charge of various HR topics such as data analytics, reporting, talent reviews, diversity, leadership, engagement, capability development, early career talent programs and organizational culture, with people at the heart of everything we do.
  • Ensure projects are executed according to the plan, meeting specifications, quality standards, timelines, and communication requirements.
  • Manage stakeholders in your scope, learn about standard HR processes, track key HR metrics that support decision-making, and be an integral part of project teams working on various topics that enable our People and Talent Strategy.

You're the right fit if:

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master in Sciences degree at a University in Human Resources, Work and Organizational Psychology, Psychology, or any other People/Business related field.
  • You are fluent in oral and written English.
  • You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • You can effectively manage stakeholders and have outstanding communication skills.
  • You have experience with Excel and data analytics (optional).

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

In return, we offer you

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and whether you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you perform a part-time internship, you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
  • Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300 net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255 net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract from the landlord, and your normal home-work travel distance needs to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) needs to be more than 1.5 hours.
  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card, you will receive a maximum of €192 net.
  • Paid holidays per internship term.
  • The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at the Philips shop.
