About the role
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will take ownership of end-to-end recruitment across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), while being based at our HQ in Amsterdam. This is a dynamic, multi-stakeholder role for an experienced recruitment professional who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment. You will lead recruitment campaigns for roles up to senior level, applying a structured, analytical, and results-driven approach to deliver high-quality hiring outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, from intake to offer, including screening and interviewing shortlisted candidates
- Act as a trusted partner to hiring managers, providing guidance and constructive challenge throughout the hiring process
- Partner closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand hiring needs and workforce planning
- Collaborate with international stakeholders and external recruitment agencies where required
- Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines using ATS systems and platforms such as LinkedIn
- Analyse recruitment data, monitor KPIs and SLAs, and provide insights and recommendations to improve performance
- Contribute to a broader understanding of labour market trends in the DACH region
- Promote and strengthen AkzoNobel’s employer branding proposition
- Train and support hiring managers on recruitment best practices, processes, and local legislation
- Continuously drive process improvements and operational efficiency
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferably in HR, Management, or Psychology
- 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition or in-house recruitment
- Proven experience in building talent pipelines and contributing to Talent Acquisition initiatives or projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoys working both independently and collaboratively
- Fluent in German and English (spoken and written); Dutch language skills or any other European language such as Swedish, French or Spanish is a plus
