As a Marketing Business Partner, you are the link between strategy and execution. You act as a strategic sparring partner and translate direction and ideas into concrete marketing content. You work independently, take initiative, and bring structure to everything you do. Are you excited by a role where you not only develop ideas, but also bring them to life? Then keep reading.

About the role

At Highberg, everything revolves around people. Around colleagues who want to make a difference, take ownership, and work together based on trust and craftsmanship. We believe real change happens when strategy, execution, and humanity come together. That starts with our own team. This is why we create an environment where you can continue to grow, apply your expertise, and expand it further. An environment where you can make lasting impact.

Bringing strategy to life

At Highberg, you are not a remote advisor. You work closely with clients on challenges that truly matter, from strategy through to implementation. This allows you to make an immediate impact and see the results of your work in practice.

Collaborative, human, and professional

We work closely together, share knowledge, and strengthen one another to achieve the best possible outcomes. Our culture is open and built on trust, with room for both ambition and humanity. We listen, celebrate successes, and hold each other accountable, always with attention to people as well as to quality.

European outlook, locally rooted

With teams in the Netherlands and the DACH region, you work in an organization with a broad, European perspective. At the same time, the culture remains personal and close-knit. This gives you the opportunity to collaborate internationally at a high level, within a committed and engaged team.

Culture as a catalyst

Our culture is a key reason why colleagues enjoy working at Highberg. We place trust in our people, value initiative, and believe it is important that everyone can continue to develop. This enables you to get the best out of yourself, while together contributing to sustainable growth.

Your role as Marketing Business Partner

As a Marketing Business Partner, you are the key link between the expertise of our People & Organization (P&O) consultants and the market. You are responsible for both the marketing and communication strategy as well as its execution (online and offline) within the field, with the goal of strengthening the market position of Highberg P&O.

In practice, this means you will:

  • Define and safeguard the marketing direction: from market positioning and brand awareness to MQLs and SQLs.
  • Manage and coordinate the marketing calendar: setting priorities, monitoring deadlines, balancing the content mix, and aligning with stakeholders.
  • Turn expertise into marketable content: translating consultants’ ideas into strong content and publishing it through the right channels.
  • Grow the visibility of our P&O expertise on LinkedIn: planning, publishing, optimizing reach, and improving performance based on analytics.
  • Coordinate end-to-end events.
  • Set up and optimize campaigns, while monitoring and improving SEO performance and website landing pages.
  • Work daily with tools such as HubSpot (or similar platforms), Google Analytics/Search Console, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and/or Google Ads, and be familiar with CMS management (e.g. WordPress) and SEO.

You will join a driven and enthusiastic marketing team consisting of a Marketing Director, Content Marketing Manager, Digital Marketer, and a working student.

Who are you?

  • You are independent, proactive, and able to switch effortlessly between strategy and execution.
  • You have a structured, hands-on mindset and feel comfortable in a role with both responsibility and autonomy.
  • You are skilled in stakeholder management and know how to engage consultants and translate their expertise into effective marketing input.
  • You are AI literate and able to apply AI in a conscious, critical, and responsible way to enhance your work.

What do we ask?

  • You have completed a Bachelor’s degree (HBO), preferably in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • You have 2 to 4 years of relevant B2B marketing experience, for example in a broad marketing role.
  • You have experience setting up and executing marketing campaigns, such as content marketing, events, paid campaigns, and SEO.
  • You are data-driven and able to translate ideas into concrete plans and measurable results.
  • You have excellent communication and editorial skills, both written and verbal, in Dutch and English.
  • A strong talent in areas such as marketing automation, CRO, CRM, creative/graphic design, or copywriting/editing is considered a strong plus.

What do we offer?

Attractive and comprehensive employment conditions:

  • a salary of €4.500 to €5.200, with variable compensation aligned with the responsibility and impact of your role, complemented by paid leave, mobilityoptions, and a pension scheme.

The best of two worlds:

  • the intellectual sharpness and quality of a high end consultancy firm, combined with the agility and engagement of an entrepreneurial organization.

Responsibility, autonomy, and entrepreneurship:

  • from the very start, you take ownership in projects and client work, with plenty of room to take initiative, supported by experienced colleagues.

Collaborating in an accessible environment:

  • you work in a setting where decision making is close to the action and ideas quickly gain traction.

Flexible working with strong connection:

  • hybrid working is possible, combined with regular moments where we come together for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and team activities such as inspiringsessions and the Highberg Festival!
