What you bring
You are an ambitious team player with strong analytical and communication capabilities. You find the best solution for the challenges our clients are facing, take ownership of the realization, and are not afraid to take the lead, with demonstrated leadership qualities in a team leader role. For the role of Manager SAP SD Tax Technology, you also have:
- a university or bachelor's degree;
- a minimum of 6 years of implementation experience in SD (e.g. pricing, supply chain, order management) and experience leading teams and project groups;
- at least 4 fully completed implementations, from the exploration phase through to the implementation phase;
- experience with reverse calculation, quantity/volume based pricing, complex pricing and tax (Excise/Indirect/Packaging) is a plus;
- a sense of political relationships and cultural differences;
- an excellent command of written and spoken English.
What impact will you make?
As (Senior) Manager SAP SD & Tax Technology you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team on diverse projects. You guide clients towards the realization of cost reduction or innovation through business process improvements. Within the Tax Technology team, you are focused on the implementation of tax processes and enjoy solving complex pricing challenges in SAP SD. You will be staffed on (inter)national projects, varying from short-term assessments and feasibility studies to full-fledged S/4HANA & Tax Technology implementations.
How do you do this?
- lead design discussions/workshops with the client Tax process area and the other process areas lead-to-cash, record-to-report, procure-to-pay and plan-to-deliver;
- translate business/tax requirements into functional specifications and/or technical designs;
- configure the S/4HANA (Cloud) system or check the configuration quality against the defined template;
- define the testing scope, support the testing activities, provide training and prepare for a successful go-live while protecting the template;
- onsite project experience is a must;
- stay on top of the latest developments in the field of S/4HANA (Cloud) and define the impact on Deloitte and our clients;
- contribute to delivery of our latest value propositions in the SAP Tax Technology domain, such as sustainability excise/sugar/packaging tax, Indirect tax, low-code application development (SAP Build) and artificial intelligence (AI).
