The internship

Join our Global Talent & Performance Management Team and play a relevant role in supporting our global initiatives aimed at building a winning people & culture organisation.

By joining our team, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Support key projects related to Performance Management in HEINEKEN (e.g. elevating our feedback culture, processes transformation, AI for talent, etc.)
  • Collaborate on the development of materials and support resources that help build a high-performance culture
  • Assist with the facilitation of training sessions for the HEINEKEN People Function community worldwide
  • Assist in change management and communication campaigns
  • Support topics related to the broader talent and performance management agenda.

In addition, you bring:

  • Currently in HBO or WO education
  • Fluent English language required
  • Eager to learn and high learning agility
  • Pro-active, pragmatic with a hands-on mentality, focused on quality deliverables
  • Team worker with the ability to manage your own projects and juggle priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, well-versed at wrapping up complex ideas and projects in a concise way and ability to connect with diverse people and cultures
  • Experienced user of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). It is a plus if you are familiar with working data analytics tools such as PowerBI

Conditions of HEINEKEN

  • You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during your onboarding.
  • In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
  • In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
  • You reside in the Netherlands for the entire duration of your internship. Please note that HEINEKEN does not provide housing.
  • You are in possession of a valid citizen service number (BSN).

Our Internship Conditions

During your time as an intern at HEINEKEN, you’ll work in a dynamic environment where growing and learning are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we brew your future step by step.

In addition, we offer you:

  • The internship is 4-5 days a week for the duration of 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor), starting on September 1, 2026
  • At HEINEKEN, we work with a hybrid model, typically spending three days a week at the office and two days working from home
  • You will receive a monthly internship allowance of €650 gross based on a 40-hour workweek
  • You will earn 2 vacation days per month (based on a full-time internship)
  • If you do not have a public transport student subscription, your commuting costs will be fully reimbursed
