Join ESA as a Constellation Operations Architect in the Secure Connectivity Ground Segment & Operations Office (CSC-IG) within the Secure Connectivity Programme Department in the Directorate of Connectivity and Secure Communications.
The ESA Programme Related to EU Secure Connectivity, hereinafter referred to as “Secure Connectivity” or IRIS², is intended to support the effective development and validation of the EU Secure Connectivity governmental infrastructure and the services provided by it, as well as the validation and demonstration of services based on the commercial infrastructure developed by the contractor(s) delivering the EU Secure Connectivity governmental infrastructure.
Reporting hierarchically to the Head of the Technical and Management Support Office within the Directorate of Operations (OPS-OS), you will also report functionally to the Head of the Secure Connectivity Ground Segment & Operations Office in the framework of ESA's matrix organisation.
You will be responsible for all engineering tasks to support the effective development and validation of the operational concept relating to the ground segment, including both the control and mission segment and systems. You will also follow the design, development, verification, validation and qualification of the operations of the ground segment and the system in line with the operational concept.

A master's degree in a relevant STEM subject is required for this post, together with 5 years of relevant professional experience.
