You are part of the centralized Group Security team, reporting to the Head of Regional Physical & People Security Officers.
Job Description
Your role:
- Coordinate and deploy security activities in the BNL region.
- Take inventory of assets, threats, and controls, determine risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Develop a Security Strategy for your region.
- Information gathering and risk assessment.
- Incident response and recovery, including involvement in crisis management.
- Incident prevention, securing people, core business, information, and reputation.
- Business engagement: be an integral part of Philips business and local management.
- Establish relationships with government regulatory bodies to ensure that minimum regulatory requirements are complied with.
- Support and/or lead local security projects and project management.
You're the right fit if:
- At least 5 years of working experience in the domain of security management.
- Bachelor’s degree in security management or other related fields related to Business Security.
- Strong business and interpersonal skills, with the ability to analyze, understand, and explain the value proposition of security initiatives to business and zone leaders.
- A high degree of emotional maturity and the ability to calmly facilitate the appropriate resolution of difficult ethical and crisis situations.
- A broad, diversified set of physical security and auditing skills with knowledge of access controls and security solutions such as CCTV, turnstiles, and intrusion detection systems.
- You are a change agent, able to be quickly recognized as a highly credible senior-level resource.
- International experience is appreciated, and one or more additional language proficiencies are an advantage.
- Further professional degrees and certifications such as ASIS CPP and PSP are a plus.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, articulate, and possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to see the big picture as well as strong attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork ethic, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
- Ability to work smart under pressure and efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment where tight deadlines and unexpected complexities can arise.
- Motivated, positive attitude, and results oriented.
- English is the corporate language, and a minimum C1 level is required.
- Dutch language fluency is considered a great advantage.
