The AI Transformation Lead is a senior leadership role responsible for driving transformative initiatives across Another Star’s support and hotel operations.

This role is part of the Procurement and Business Services team at Another Star, partnering with the Tech and Data team to drive internal (organizational) and external (supplier/partner) efficiencies. AI is a key lever to reduce manual work, improve quality, and enable the business to focus on strategic, revenue-generating activities.

This position combines strategic oversight with operational execution, focusing on leveraging AI and process optimization to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability. You will work across the business, including finance, commercial functions, hotel operations, and support teams.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Influence

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership of Another Star, providing insights and recommendations on AI, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Lead the strategic development and execution of a forward-looking innovation roadmap, integrating it into the business planning cycle.
  • Collaborate with core strategic suppliers to deliver solutions that align with Another Star’s operational and strategic goals.

Build

  • In collaboration with relevant stakeholders, identify, prioritize, and lead initiatives that reduce manual work, improve quality, and unlock capacity for more strategic value.
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver initiatives on time and within budget, and achieve agreed-upon KPIs, such as reduction of manual workload, processing time improvements, and cost savings.
  • Drive sustainable adoption.
  • Translate technical possibilities into actionable business cases with measurable ROI.

Measure

  • Measure and report impact on every initiative.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Success metrics / KPIs

  • Delivery of all special projects on time, within budget, achieving predefined business outcomes.
  • Reduction of manual workload.
  • Operational cost savings through process optimization and automation.
  • High adoption of AI, automation, and process improvements across hotels and corporate functions.
  • Successful collaboration with strategic suppliers to implement innovative solutions aligned with operational goals.

Qualifications / skills

  • Master’s degree in business, operations or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional transformation and influencing senior leadership.
  • Track record of delivering measurable operational improvements using AI, automation, or process redesign.
  • Strong understanding of multi-site (ie retail) or travel and hospitality is highly desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and supplier engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
  • Commercial and financial acumen to evaluate business cases and operational impact.
