About the Opportunity

The RGM Intern will work closely with the Global Trade Spend and Promotional Manager, who reports directly to the Global Head of RGM. This internship focuses on supporting initiatives within the Promotional Effectiveness and Efficiency pillar of Revenue Growth Management (RGM).

Under guidance and mentorship, the intern will contribute to three key areas:

Learn PVM’s Approach to Promotional Optimization

  • Gain a solid understanding of PVM’s strategy for promotional planning and execution.
  • Support ongoing projects in collaboration with country teams, focusing on preparation, planning, and follow-up meetings to drive promotional effectiveness.

Support Data Analysis for Promotional Optimization

  • Assist in analyzing promotional performance data using PVM’s Promotional Effectiveness Framework.
  • Identify key insights, trends, and opportunities at both global and regional levels to support data-driven decision-making.

Contribute to Cross-Country Knowledge Sharing

  • Work closely with the Global Trade Spend & Promotional Manager to synthesize learnings from various country-level projects.
  • Help identify recurring themes and insights that can be shared globally to enhance alignment, focus, and synergies across markets.

Our Perfect Candidate

  • You are looking for a ‘Meewerkstage’ (work-internship) for at least 20 weeks at a Dutch HBO/University.
  • You are currently enrolled in a study in the Netherlands in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Economics, or related fields and are looking for an internship of at least 20 weeks.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to conduct insightful analysis using Excel and tools such as Power BI.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with colleagues across countries and functions.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • You have strong English skills as this is the main language in the business.
  • You are eager and proactive: you approach people easily, are eager to pick up work and new projects for your development, and are not afraid to ask for help when needed.
