Starting in September 2026, you can become part of Hunkemöller’s Best Internship in Retail (BIIR) Program, alongside 50+ fellow interns, through this internship opportunity within the Global HR team.
You will be part of a dynamic Global HR team consisting of the Chief Human Resources Officer, Global HR Business Coordinator, Local HR Managers, Global Managers of Learning & Development, Recruitment & Employer Branding Manager, Internal Communications, and Compensation & Benefits.
Your tasks
- Being involved in Global HR projects related to the Global HR Strategy, participating in multiple projects across different areas of the business, taking initiative and supporting the team with creativity.
- HR Analytics, with the aim to reliably report people data and draw insights to improve processes and procedures.
- Performance Review (the annual global performance review cycle).
- Event management, such as organizing international HR Away Days.
- Developing professional and on-brand presentations, for example for Global HR meetings or the European Workers Council, using creativity and attention to detail.
- Supporting the Global HR Business Coordinator with day-to-day queries, such as preparing meetings and communication, collecting and analyzing data, and being in touch with stakeholders across all countries.
- Supporting projects in areas such as Employee Experience, Internal Communications, Rewards & Recognition, and ESG/CSRD (social) activities.
About you
- 3rd or 4th year Bachelor’s student, or currently pursuing a Master’s degree in an HR-, Psychology-, or Business-related study.
- Available for a minimum of 4 days a week (thesis internship is possible) and able to come to Hilversum 3 days a week.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (an extra language is a plus).
- Able to manage deadlines and multiple priorities at the same time.
- A quick learner who enjoys working independently and taking ownership.
- Comfortable working with AI-based tools and sensitive data, with a good understanding of confidentiality, data privacy, and responsible use.
- Excellent skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with Canva, Lucidchart or similar.
- Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented.

Eligibility Criteria
For this internship, you need to be available for 5 months starting in September 2026. Your application will only be considered if you are enrolled at a school or university for the full duration of the internship. Additionally, to comply with Dutch law, one of the following must apply:
- You are an EU citizen.
- You are on a Family/Partner visa.
- You are a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands, and you meet at least one of the following requirements: (1) The internship is a mandatory part of your curriculum, or (2) your university is willing to sign a third-party agreement (Nuffic Agreement).
