Intern Research & digital strategy

This role is part of our Experience & Engineering team based in the Netherlands. We combine our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to deliver exceptional and engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Gant, Inter Milan, bol.com and Just Eat Takeaway.

Job purpose

Looking to kick off your creative career as a digital strategist? During this internship, you'll join our talent program designed to shape you into a next-level strategist. We’ll give you all the attention, feedback, GIFs, and high fives you need to grow into a standout professional. Our goal? To help you reach your full potential.

A strategist bridges the client's wishes and the digital product. We translate visions into realities that meet both business goals and user needs. You’ll dive into digital trends, analyse markets, conduct user research, prep workshops, and pitch to clients. Learn how we transform business needs into digital innovations, translating from intuitive apps to user-friendly websites.

From day one, you’ll be paired with a dedicated mentor for 1-on-1 coaching and join a team of passionate strategists always ready to help. Our hands-on workshops will sharpen your skills even further.

By the end of your internship, you’ll have gained valuable experience in the field and worked on projects for A-list clients. Take it from us, your resume will be more than ready for a future in the digital industry.

Note: to be eligible for this internship, you are required to be living and studying in the Netherlands and be fluent in Dutch

What you will do

• Collaborate with strategists and designers in the development of innovations, strategic transformations and digital solutions.
• Assist in quantitative research: running analyses using platforms like Statista, AI powered deep-research, and other data tools to uncover audience and market insights.
• Support qualitative research: contributing to participant recruitment, note-taking, and assisting in interviews, surveys, and focus groups.
• Conduct competitive analysis, deep-dive into the latest digital trends and analysing markets to help inform strategy and positioning.
• Prep and facilitate workshops and presentations, using tools such as Miro or Google Slides.
• Support the Digital Strategy team in bringing the research & strategy to live for clients.

• You're a natural problem-solver who sees opportunities where others see obstacles.
• You have an endless love for digital and get enthusiastic about the potential of AI.
• A business detective: user, market or any type of research is your thing.
• You bring energy and structure to workshops and co-creation sessions, and know how to get everyone involved.
• You know how to make ideas shine, whether that’s through a smart concept or a killer slide deck that blends content and design seamlessly.
• Someone studying preferably in the field of Product Design or similar (WO or HBO).

Hard requirements

• You are currently enrolled in a Dutch university for the entire duration of the internship.
• Availability of 4 days per week, preferably 5, from September 2026 for a duration of 5 months.
• You speak Dutch fluently, and you’re also confident in English - whether you’re writing, presenting, or just chatting with the team.
