Senior Contract Logistics Solutions Engineer Healthcare EMEA (m/w/d)

At Kuehne+Nagel, as a Contract Logistics Specialist, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for customers. By doing so with precision, you contribute to the success of your team as well as the day-to-day operations and success of warehouse and distribution centres.

As a member of a healthcare-dedicated cross-functional subject matter expert team, your primary objective is to successfully develop and implement industry-leading healthcare contract logistics and warehousing solutions for large and strategic anchor projects in EMEA.

Beyond project-specific tasks across all stages of a project lifecycle, as a senior engineer you are recognised as a subject matter expert in your areas of expertise, driving strategic continental or global initiatives such as the development of new standards, tools and best practices.

How you create impact

• Take the lead in major customer RFQ projects and develop compelling, competitive logistics concepts.
• Present proposed solutions to customers as a key element of the tendering process.
• Lead and support customer implementation projects in the areas of processes and operations, working closely with other key SME stakeholders, especially IS and QM.
• Drive innovation by introducing and implementing new concepts and technologies, building on existing best practices.
• Manage, support, and advise others in the development of successful customer solutions.
• Act as a business partner to Continental and Country teams, supporting customer solution inquiries and constructively challenging the status quo - and customers - where appropriate.
• Manage partnerships with key vendors across the continent to optimize costs and lead times.
• Support the development of colleagues by enhancing skills and knowledge levels, ensuring high standards of compliance.

What we would like you to bring

• Experience of designing solutions for complex projects.
• In depth technical knowledge of CL solutions in the Healthcare vertical including thorough know how about the regulatory framework.
• Relevant operational and / or project implementation experience.
• Ability to work independently with good communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent customer orientation - both external and internal.
• Ability to listen and translate in efficient & best in class solution.
• Working under pressure to achieve tight deadlines and willing to go the extra mile.
• Continental or global travel - also on short notice - to customer and KN sites.
