  • You create and implement strategies for effective IT Asset Management (ITAM) systems.
  • You develop and enforce ITAM policies and best practices.
  • You are responsible for both the operational work around ITAM as well as the process part, including improving asset management processes and documenting them.
  • You design, implement and maintain the ServiceNow CSDM architecture in accordance with best practices and industry standards.
  • You identify and document the relationships between IT infrastructure, services, and business services, and ensure that the CSDM accurately represents these relationships.
  • You integrate ITAM with other ITIL processes.
  • You collaborate and cooperate with IT teams and individuals across the globe on various initiatives, projects and tasks.
  • In the event of exceptional circumstances, you may be required to temporarily step in as a backup for the Incident or Change Manager.

Working environment

ABN AMRO Clearing is a global clearing firm that provides an integrated suite of financial services to professional trading participants in the global financial market.

In your role as IT Asset & Configuration Manager / CSDM Specialist you are a member of the Center of Excellence (CoE) team called IT Control & Service Management. This CoE is part of the 1Global organization, which includes IT and Business specialists around the globe. The 1Global organization consists of:

  • Product GRID, mainly responsible for software development, maintenance and DevOps support.
  • Platform GRID, mainly responsible for developing and maintaining on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure environments.
  • 3 Centers of Expertise: IT Control & Service Management, IT Architecture and IT Security.

Most of the work done in the 1Global organization is carried out in an Agile way. Prioritization of work and project-related budget allocation is done on high level via the Quarterly Business Review process and meetings. The CoE IT Control & Service Management is set up in three streams:

  • The Service Management team is mainly responsible for ITIL process management (Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, etc.), performance management, monitoring & audit, chain control, service agreements and escalation management (e.g. Group SLA standards, IGAs).
  • Supplier Management is responsible for optimizing third-party contract management for external software and HR vendors.

Your role is in the IT Service Management stream where you work closely together with IT Service Management colleagues, PO's, IT Engineers, IT Platform Engineers and Business Developers in both the Product and Platform GRID. You also collaborate with colleagues in the other CoEs and in other regions, including Asia Pacific and the United States.

Your profile

Your nature is to take the lead and act in the driver seat, not waiting until others tell you what to do. You're known for your excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization, including senior management and stakeholders. You have strong attention to detail, documentation and interpersonal skills. As this is a global company, global collaboration and communication is key, occasionally also outside EU business hours. Experience working in a regulated, financial and/or IT industry is preferred. Knowledge of information management and of IT systems, processes, and regulations is also valued.

On top of that, you match the following hard skills:

  • 7 to 10 years of working experience in an IT Service Management environment.
  • 5+ years of operational IT Asset Management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing CSDM architectures and workflows.
  • 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow is a must.

  • ITIL v3/4.
  • CITAM (Certified IT Asset Manager) or CSAM (Certified Software Asset Manager) or comparable.
  • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist – Data Foundations (CMDB and CSDM) (CIS-DF (CMDB and CSDM)).

We are offering

  • An attractive gross monthly salary between € 6,072 and € 8,675 based on a 40-hour working week, including holiday allowance and a flexible benefit budget, depending on your working experience and skills.
  • An excellent pension scheme, ensuring that you are well prepared for the future.
