Your job

In this role, you will oversee designing, developing, and implementing ETL data pipelines that consume data from multiple sources, apply needed transformations and transfer the data to target systems. You will be responsible for developing and reviewing software solutions that are deployed in the Azure Cloud using a variety of technologies such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Databricks, Azure App Service, Postgres DB, among others.

You will be part of a diverse Agile/Scrum DevOps team and have end-to-end responsibility, on behalf of the business and clients, for developing, managing, and maintaining functionalities in the Credit Risk Services area, which are prioritised by the Product Owner.

Working environment

You will be part of the Credit Risk Services shop. CRS is on its way to become the central Credits hub for rating assessment, client groupings, credit risk calculations and credits ESG administration. The team you are joining contributes to urgent regulatory demands and internal findings. Together, we make ABN AMRO industry-leading in lending and compliant by design.

Your profile

We are looking for a Senior Technical Professional who thrives in a complex, technology-driven environment. You stay on top of emerging technologies, communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and feel comfortable taking technical ownership and guiding others. You have hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and demonstrate strong technical leadership qualities. You are fluent in English and enjoy collaborating in multidisciplinary, international environments.

To be successful in this role, you bring the following skills:

• Strong experience in designing and developing applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience working with Azure in large scale environments, specifically Azure Data Lake Storage, Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure App Service, etc.
• Advanced Python development skills; certification is a strong plus.
• Experience in building and maintaining Python-based APIs.
• Practical experience working with Gen AI and/or Agentic AI.
• Banking experience and work experience with Data Science and Machine Learning are a big plus.
