Connector Intern

Join The Social Hub in The Hague as a Connector - Community & Event Manager Intern, helping make the hub a favorite city hotspot for events, lectures, movie nights, exhibits and parties. In this role, you will help create stories, adventures, and meaningful connections for guests and community members.

The Social Hub offers a fun, creative and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play — and most importantly, be themselves. As an employer, it combines hospitality with student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bar and eat & drink escapes, as well as community and coworking spaces.

What You'll Do

• Actively connect the semester, co-working, hotel and extended stay community
• Help with the set-up of an ongoing program of events with and for the internal community
• Serve, along with the Connector, as the eyes and ears of the community and as a go-to contact person for events and community activations
• Build and maintain relations with partners to fill the annual calendar with on-trend, recurring events that appeal to the community
• Host and engage with local student ambassadors on a regular basis
• Create, collect and deliver digital content based on marketing briefings, including text, video and images
• Own and manage the local TSH social channels within brand guidelines
• Attend and be an essential part of local network events

Who You Are

• Currently enrolled in a university
• Outgoing and confident, especially in front of an audience
• A natural connector with a genuine interest in being around people
• Professional and responsible enough to work independently in a fast-paced, sometimes chaotic atmosphere
• Social, flexible, motivated and with a sense of humor
• A visionary with ideas on how to grow the company’s connector strategy
• Communicative and entrepreneurial
• Calm under pressure
• Exceptionally organized
• Fluent in English and Dutch; additional languages are a plus
• Currently studying within the EU
