As Product Manager for the newly formed AI Efficiency team, you introduce AI agents that automate and accelerate operational workflows across bol. Not as bolted-on tooling, but as a scalable capability that enhances quality and removes friction for 47,000 partners and 13.7 million customers. Help bol thrive in an AI-native era.

How do you make our customers happy?

Millions of products. Constant change. Countless plans. And all types of journeys that need to be accurate, fast, and trustworthy. In all circumstances. Manual processes are necessary, but they won’t keep up indefinitely. And they shouldn’t have to.

The biggest challenge

AI agents can’t solve a broken process; they’ll just highlight those flaws with ruthless efficiency. Most of bol’s workflows grew organically – human-centric, exception-heavy, and rarely standardized. Data scientists dream of elegant agentic systems. Operational teams have targets to hit. Commercial stakeholders want impact yesterday. And platform teams require reusability across domains. Your challenge is to redesign workflows end-to-end so they become agent-ready, measurable, and scalable, without grinding operations to a halt. You’re not shipping features. You’re transforming how bol operates.

What you'll do as the Product Manager of AI Efficiency

You’ll own the product strategy, discovery process, and outcomes for a cross-functional team of engineers and data scientists working on AI-driven operational automation. You’ll report to the AI Efficiency Lead and work at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Commercial, and Platform teams. Because the team is new, you get the opportunity to co-shape it. From hiring and ways of working to establishing the product culture you want to see three years from now. You set the pace for continuous discovery and delivery, including prioritizing high-leverage workflows, redesigning processes to be agent-ready, shipping agentic capabilities with adequate guardrails, measuring impact, and scaling what works. Here’s what that looks like day to day:

  • Define and evolve the product vision for AI-driven operational efficiency, translating it into a roadmap with measurable outcomes (improved quality, reduced repetitive work and cost-to-serve)
  • Partner with operational teams to deeply understand existing workflows, then redesign them to streamline automation and grow impact
  • Drive standardization and modularity so that agentic capabilities (triage, content generation, validation, monitoring) are reusable across categories and domains
  • Work with engineers and data scientists to ship secure, traceable AI agents with humans in the loop where it matters, clear evaluation criteria, and appropriate guardrails
  • Define success metrics and build feedback loops that focus on real impact, not dashboard theater
  • Conduct experiments, scale what works, kill what doesn’t, and make trade-offs transparent to stakeholders
  • Help shape the team: contribute to hiring decisions, define ways of working, and build a culture of product thinking and measurable outcomes

Why you can make a difference

With 5+ years of product management experience in a product-led environment, ideally involving platform, automation, or AI-enabled products, you know how to turn ambiguity into executable plans. You’ve redesigned operational processes before (e.g. partner operations, catalog quality, or moderation), and you’ve seen the difference between bolting tooling onto a broken workflow and optimizing processes first. Your understanding of AI and LLMs is practical, not theoretical: you know what models can and can’t do, how to evaluate output, and how to ship responsibly. You focus on outcomes over output, and create clarity across teams that don’t naturally align. Lastly, you’re comfortable building something from scratch and know that early wins set the tone for what comes next.

3 reasons why this is (not) for you

Not for you if:

  • Feature factory foreman You prefer clearly scoped requirements, a tidy backlog, and stakeholders who agree with each other by default.
  • Demo-driven developer A convincing proof of concept is where your interest peaks. Production-grade guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and rollout plans? Delegate, pronto!
  • Authority addict You influence through org charts and formal escalation paths. Not by building trust and momentum across teams that don't report to you.

For you if:

  • Workflow archaeologist You enjoy digging into messy operational processes and finding patterns that can be automated. And identifying exceptions that can’t.
  • Outcome obsessive Shipping is good, shipping quality is better. An agent that nobody uses is a failure, not a feature.
  • Pragmatic AI realist You know when LLMs are the right answer and when processes are not ready for them yet.

Here's where you'll land

You’ll join the AI Efficiency team within bol’s Product & Tech organization, a newly formed group starting with a broad mandate and a blank slate. The environment is ambitious and collaborative: engineers, data scientists, and operational partners who all want AI to work flawlessly in production, not just in pitch decks. The team is still taking shape, which means you help define not only what we build, but how we work. If you’ve been waiting for a role where AI, product, and operational reality all meet – this is your opportunity.
