A Day in the Life

The Leader of Enterprise Accounts & Integrated Health Solutions (EA&IHS) for Benelux is accountable for building and leading Medtronic’s most strategic, enterprise-level customer partnerships across the region. This role drives sustainable growth by shaping long-term enterprise strategies translated into concrete multi-year partnerships, delivering integrated solutions across Operating Units, and strengthening executive-level relationships with key healthcare systems.

The position operates at the intersection of strategy, commercial execution, and people leadership, with a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration and long-term value creation for both customers and Medtronic.

Key Accountabilities

Enterprise Customer Strategy & Relationships

  • Own senior-level strategic engagement and execute the enterprise account strategy for priority healthcare clients in the region.
  • Serve as executive sponsor for senior customer relationships, including C-suite and board-level stakeholders, focused on transformation, value creation, and multi-year collaboration rather than transactional engagement.
  • Build trusted, long-term partnerships based on shared value, outcomes, and strategic alignment.

Commercial & Financial Leadership

  • Deliver revenue, margin, and long-term value objectives for EA&IHS.
  • Own forecasting, pipeline management, and multi-year growth plans with disciplined execution aligned with regional and enterprise priorities.
  • Ensure robust forecasting, performance tracking, and corrective actions when needed.

Integrated Solutions & Cross-Organizational Leadership

  • Lead collaboration across Operating Units and functions to deliver integrated, customer-centric solutions.
  • Translate enterprise customer needs into coordinated, scalable execution across Medtronic, avoiding a siloed approach and maximizing value creation.
  • Act as a connector and influencer in a complex matrix organization.

People Leadership & Culture

  • Lead, develop, and engage the EA&IHS team across the Benelux region.
  • Coach leaders and build strong succession and talent pipelines.

Governance, Ethics & Compliance

  • Define and orchestrate country leadership governance.
  • Communicate performance, risks, and strategic progress transparently to regional leadership.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Medtronic policies.
  • Model ethical leadership and accountability in all customer and internal interactions.

Measures of Success

  • Delivery of regional EA&IHS revenue, margin, and contract value targets.
  • Strength, depth, and longevity of executive-level customer partnerships.
  • Effective cross-Operating Unit collaboration and solution delivery.
  • Team performance, engagement, development, and retention of top talent.
  • Strong compliance, governance, and ethical performance.

Competencies and Qualifications

  • Senior commercial, strategy, or business leadership experience in healthcare, medtech, or related industries.
  • Proven success managing complex, enterprise-level customer relationships.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including ownership of business performance, preferably with multi-country or regional leadership experience.
  • Experience leading in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with integrated solutions, system-level selling, or value-based healthcare models.
  • Experience working with large healthcare systems or integrated delivery networks.
  • Executive presence and influence.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires advanced sales, business development, management, and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams or manage across multiple functions, country, region, or business.
  • Master’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (managerial or commercial).
  • Must have fluency in English and Dutch; French is advantageous.
