As an Account Engineer in our high-tech cleanroom in Echt, you develop and assemble complex cable systems for top clients in the international high-tech sector. You ensure that customer requirements are translated into technically feasible and manufacturable solutions.

This makes you the primary point of contact for customers and the bridge between engineering, production, quality, purchasing, and planning. In our high-tech cleanroom in Echt, we develop and assemble complex cable systems for top clients in the international high-tech sector. As an Account Engineer, you are the key player in the process: you ensure that customer requirements are translated into technically feasible and manufacturable solutions.

As an Account Engineer, you are expected to work in a structured and project-oriented way. Your commercial affinity, critical mindset, and understanding of business processes help ensure that internal processes run as efficiently as possible. You excel at maintaining customer relationships, have a hands-on mentality, and enjoy contributing ideas within an organization that is continuously evolving.

We also ask for:

• A bachelor’s degree (HBO) in a technical field such as Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Demonstrable affinity with project-based work, business processes, and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
• Demonstrable affinity with production, testing, or development.
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English; German is a plus.

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Conducting in-depth discussions with customers about technical specifications.
• Preparing cost price calculations and translating them into clear quotations.
• Leading product introductions as the technical project lead, from request to delivery.
• Visiting customer locations for alignment, progress updates, and technical meetings.
• Ensuring products can be produced and tested effectively within our processes.
• Assessing change requests for completeness and technical feasibility.
• Coordinating test, manufacturing, and process engineering activities.
• Evaluating and advising on “design for excellence”.
