As a Marketing Communications Officer for SDI, you will help plan and execute day-to-day marketing communications that strengthen brand awareness and support industry visibility and demand generation. You will work closely with marketing communications, product management marketing, and commercial teams across IAI Industrial Systems B.V. and IXLA to create content, run campaigns, and maintain digital and physical channels.

Essential Duties
- Manage and grow our presence across key social media platforms, including planning, posting, community interactions, and basic reporting.
- Assist with email marketing both internally and externally.
- Support website content, including page updates, publishing, and hygiene checks such as links, metadata, and visuals.
- Create a wide range of content that suits the omnichannel marketing approach.
- Execute design work using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, including visuals for social media, email headers, one-pagers, and other assets, while upholding and protecting brand standards.
- Publish content to social, email, or web after appropriate reviews and approvals.
- Contribute to campaign planning and delivery with guidance from the team.
- Actively support internal marketing initiatives that contribute to brand equity and employee engagement.
Primary Duties
- Support measurement and share actionable learnings with the team.
- Execute assigned campaign tasks and keep work trackers up to date.
- Update collateral libraries and ensure materials meet brand and compliance requirements.
- Use approved brand assets and templates and propose improvements for review.
- Prepare and adapt templates, assets, and collateral.
- Track basic performance metrics and share insights to optimize activities.
- Request and coordinate minor vendor work, such as print and graphics, within guidelines.
- Help maintain brand consistency across internal and external touchpoints for IAI and IXLA.
- Coordinate with external partners or vendors when needed under team guidance, such as for content or small event tasks.
- Take initiative on assigned projects and manage tasks to agreed timelines.
- Take initiative on additional marketing communications projects that help grow the IXLA and IAI brands.
Essential Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- BBA or Master’s student in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Creative thinking and a proactive, eager-to-learn attitude with visual storytelling skills.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration with departments such as sales, engineering, and software, along with strong internal and external stakeholder communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry experience in identity, security, or government technology is a plus.
- Demonstrated interest in social media management, content creation, and email marketing.
- Basic analytics mindset to process and interpret performance data.
- Exposure to marketing automation, web CMS, and analytics tools is advantageous.
- Additional language skills such as Spanish, Dutch, or Italian are advantageous.
Work Requirements
- Compliance with all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
- Travel and fieldwork, including international travel, may be required. Therefore, the employee must possess, or be able to acquire, a valid passport.
