Job description

Who are we?

At Aquablu, we’re revolutionizing the way you hydrate. We believe that every sip can be a step toward a cleaner, healthier future. Our mission is to transform global drinking habits by replacing single-use plastics with innovative, sustainable hydration solutions that elevate your well-being.

“That might sound really ambitious, but our team is part of an inspiring movement in an industry that’s thirsty for change.”

Marc, Co-founder of Aquablu

The role

You’ll build and manage the operational backbone of Aquablu's international service network. ‘Service’ in our world means installations of new systems, preventive maintenance, and technical support for our smart water dispensers at client sites. As we expand across Europe both through our dealer network and through direct enterprise contracts, we need someone who ensures service quality is consistently on par. Your immediate focus is enabling Aquablu to deliver on direct enterprise contracts across borders. Alongside that, you'll bring structure and oversight to service quality across our existing dealer network. Your responsibility is to connect the dots between our partner network, our SLA framework, and our monitoring tools into one cohesive operating model. You sit in the Operations team and own this end to end.

What you’ll do

  • Design the operating model for international service and deliver high-quality service in all markets.
  • Onboard new partners and create lasting collaborations.
  • Decide how to structure service fee contracts.
  • Define SLAs and how they are enforced.
  • Ensure spare parts get to the right place at the right time.
  • Arrange CO2 supply in each new market and define communication and escalation lines.
  • Build the playbooks, processes, and fee structures that make the network run, and then run it.
  • Monitor service performance across partners using various data sources, translate findings into actionable feedback for channel managers and partner organisations, and drive improvements where needed.
  • Source, vet, and onboard new service partners across European markets where there are gaps in the existing partner network, starting with regions where the sales pipeline demands it.
  • Collaborate across teams with Channel Management, Client Support, and Tech Support to design communication and escalation processes that work across borders, and with Operations for spare parts and stock management.
  • As the network matures, evolve from building to optimising by raising the bar on service quality, streamlining processes, and making sure expansion into new markets does not require reinventing the wheel each time.

What we’re looking for

Someone who leads with operational excellence and knows how to manage external service partners.

  • 5+ years of experience in partner or vendor management, with a track record of setting SLA targets, measuring KPIs, and optimising performance of external parties. Bonus points for experience in service operations and/or beverage industry.
  • Analytical mindset, with comfort working with dashboards and data to monitor performance and turn it into actionable insights.
  • Entrepreneurial and structured thinking; you thrive when building something from scratch, but you build it in a way that's repeatable and scalable.
  • Strong communication skills to work with both a partner's operations team and their senior management. You understand the commercial implications of operational agreements.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a strong plus.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe when needed.

Why Aquablu?

  • 🌍 International scope; build Aquablu's European service network from scratch
  • 📈 Equity through our Aquablu for All plan — everyone shares in what we're building

  • 💧 Unlimited Aquablu (of course)
