Logistics Specialist Transport Arrangement

BYD Europe BV, located in Schiedam, Netherlands, is the marketing and sales HQ of BYD Co., Ltd in Europe and offers a full line of BYD electric vehicles, including all-electric cars, all-electric buses, and all-electric forklift trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily communication with colleagues and logistics service providers (LSPs).
• Arranging transport by trucking, shipping, or both.
• Daily contact with local logistics service partners to follow up on the real-time status of shipments and transportations.
• Keeping track of all shipments and preparing all necessary documents and payments.
• Arranging commercial documents, such as invoices, to be delivered to and handled by the related parties.
• Daily data maintenance and updates in systems and outside systems, for example Excel.
• Participating in and assisting with setting up the BYD logistics supplier list.
• Being involved in monthly review meetings with logistics suppliers.
• Dealing with related paperwork for internal and external purposes.
• Monitoring potential problems and bottlenecks and exploring ways to improve workflow.
• Providing support to all procedures when needed.

Requirements:

• Preferably up to 3 years of related working experience or a graduate of a related field of study.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Data Analysis, or Business Management.
• Proficient Excel skills.
• Excellent English language skills; Chinese, Dutch, or any other European language will be considered an advantage.
• Stress-resilient with a problem-solving mindset.
• Team player with attention to detail.
