What tasks can you expect with us?
- Ensuring the submission of returns in an accurate and timely manner at varying frequencies, as stipulated by the regulator
- Ensuring a robust control environment by performing key checks and controls proving data completeness and consistency
- Investigation of issues and exceptions with various divisions of the firm such as IT, Compliance, Brokerage, Operations
- Analysis of upcoming regulatory transaction reporting requirements
- Understanding system flows, bookings, financial instruments and assisting in technology build as per necessary reporting requirements
- Proactively verifying opportunities to improve workflows, technology, and integrity of reporting information
- Coordinating and implementing regulatory change and regulatory transaction reporting projects and processes
- Focusing on daily functional oversight through development and execution of testing and monitoring
- Responsible for enhancing and further developing the regulatory transactions reporting architecture and platform used for reporting to regulators
- Partnering with main departments such as IT squads, Compliance, Risk, Brokerage and Operations to establish control mechanisms and focus on sustainable enhancements for different regulatory regimes
What do we want from you?
- Degree in a relevant study field such as business administration or legal
- Extensive hands-on experience in the banking industry
- Relevant, substantial working knowledge of regulatory reporting regimes such as MiFIR/MIFID II, EMIR, SFTR, CSDR
- Fluent in English; Dutch or German is considered a plus
- Strong financial, analytical, detail-oriented, and organizational skills
- Pragmatic, complex problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong communicator, reliable team player, experienced in working in cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of SQL and/or VBA is a plus
- Experience with standard reporting tools such as Cappitech, IHS Markit, S&P Global, etc. is a plus
