PVM Internship Group Corporate Communications

Perfetti Van Melle crafts, produces, and delivers confectionery brands enjoyed around the world. Perfetti Van Melle is looking for an intern to join the Group Corporate Communications team.

This team is responsible for protecting the reputation of Perfetti Van Melle and its iconic brands, managing media interactions, developing engaging internal communications, and providing strategic advice to senior leadership. You will report to the Group Communications Manager – Sustainability and your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the company LinkedIn channel, developing engaging content, and monitoring compliance with company social media guidelines.
• Supporting the Corporate Communications team in content development, creative writing, visual design, and developing internal and external communication campaigns, to be agreed with the team.
• Helping to monitor the effectiveness and impact of communications activities across channels, and providing recommendations for further improvement.
• Supporting the team in aligning with agencies and freelancers on campaigns and content related to global stories and programs.

What we are looking for

• You are currently studying towards your (HBO / WO) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communication, Journalism, Media, or a similar field.
• You are looking for a meewerkstage (work internship) for at least 20 weeks at a Dutch HBO/University.
• You have strong English skills, as this is the main language in the business.
• You are eager and proactive: you approach people easily, are eager to pick up work and new projects for your development, and you are not afraid to ask for help when needed.
• Optional but preferred: video editing, visual design skills (for example Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, etc.), or project management skills.
