As a Maintenance Specialist Electrical Engineering, you will develop innovative maintenance strategies that truly make an impact. You translate data and practical knowledge into smart maintenance strategies, collaborate with specialists from across the company and ensure technical standards that make a difference site-wide. In addition, you contribute to the development of installation performance for various operational units.

As a Maintenance Specialist Electrical Engineering at Tata Steel you...

• Provide substantive direction to maintenance. You translate technical data and practical experience into smart maintenance concepts, standards, and improvement initiatives.
• Enable predictable maintenance through smart monitoring and implement advanced measurement systems within your field.
• Work closely with various departments and stakeholders, such as Field Management, production units and project teams across the entire site.
• Are prescriptive within your field and deliver direct impact on the performance and reliability of our installations.
• Strengthen teams with your expertise by advising in a multidisciplinary way. You contribute to modifications and help safeguard technical standards for the entire organization.

You set clear goals and work efficiently to achieve them. You also actively listen to the needs of the production and maintenance organization of the plant and provide solutions. Furthermore, you have:

• A bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering.
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.

You will be part of the central maintenance organization of Tata Steel IJmuiden, where technical teams are responsible for site-wide planned maintenance.

As this is a generic role, you may be placed in various production units, such as the Blast Furnaces, Cold Rolling Mill, Hot Rolling Mill or another operational unit.
