Why Highberg

At Highberg, we turn vision into movement and ambition into reality. We know that real transformation demands more than ideas: it demands people who make them happen. We believe in doing, not just designing. In partnerships built on trust and shared purpose. Our people work as one, combining humanity, strategy, and deep expertise. Because when people and purpose move together, we create change that endures.

Your work as HR IT Technical Integration Consultant at Highberg

This role focuses on hands-on implementation of integration solutions using APIs, middleware, and automation tools, ensuring seamless data flow and compliance with technical and business requirements.

  • Develop data transformation logic using XSLT, JSON, or XML for systems like Oracle HCM Cloud and Workday HCM.

System-specific integrations

  • AFAS: Utilize AFAS REST APIs and AppLink for payroll and third-party system integrations.
  • SuccessFactors: Build integrations using SAP CPI and SuccessFactors OData APIs.

Troubleshooting & optimization

  • Resolve integration errors (e.g., data mapping issues, latency) in real-time systems.
  • Monitor integration performance using tools like Splunk or Azure Monitor.
  • Optimize data flows for scalability and compliance with GDPR or SOC 2.

Collaboration & documentation

  • Partner with HRIT Solution Architects and HRIT Integration Architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Document integration architectures, data mappings, and workflows using Confluence or Lucidchart.
  • Train stakeholders on integration best practices and tools.

Who are you?

  • A technical professional with an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • You work with precision and in a structured manner, and enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • You are eager to learn, have strong communication skills, and can explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable way.

What are we asking?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology.
  • Experience in HR IT technical support or system administration.
  • Hands-on experience with HR platforms (e.g., Oracle HCM Cloud, Workday HCM, AFAS, Youforce, and/or SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Expertise in integration platforms: MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, SAP CPI, or Oracle OIC.
  • Proficiency in API protocols: REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and OAuth 2.0.
  • Strong knowledge of data formats: XML, JSON, CSV, and EDI.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) or HR systems (preferred).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines).
  • Good proficiency of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

What are we offering?

  • Genuine focus on personal development, including coaching by colleagues, access to a wide range of training and development opportunities, and a personal development plan with a training budget of €3,000 per year.
  • A role within a challenging and growing organisation where taking personal responsibility is valued, and where you have the autonomy and freedom to carry out your work flexibly with short lines of communication with colleagues.
