About L’Oréal

L'Oréal offers a portfolio of international brands such as L'Oréal Paris, Garnier, Kérastase, Lancôme, Giorgio Armani and Vichy, with products for a wide range of consumers.

About the role

As an E-commerce Content Manager, you will be the architect of our digital presence across the Benelux market. Reporting to the E-commerce Director for the Benelux, you will ensure that our brands are represented with the highest standards of excellence across all retailer touchpoints. You will bridge the gap between global brand assets and local retail requirements, driving the "Digital Shelf" strategy to maximize conversion and consumer engagement.

This role is highly cross-functional, acting as the primary connector between our Content Factory, IT systems (Salsify/Opera), and the local divisions teams and retailers. You will lead the "E-merch tribe," fostering a culture of operational excellence and technological adoption.

In your role, you will take the lead on 5 main topics:

  • Content Factory (ECF) Leadership: You will act as the Project Lead for the ECF, in close collaboration with the E-merchandisers who will act as ECF division leads.
  • NIQ Digital Shelf Leadership: As the lead on NIQ digital shelf, you will safeguard data quality across divisions. You will develop reporting on the LAVA KPI’s (Attractivity, Visibility, Availability) and implement ways of working that will stimulate tool adoption and spark actions based on data insights.
  • Ratings & Reviews Strategy: You will be the main POC for Bazaarvoice and our internal divisions. Your responsibilities include contract management, sizing requirements with divisions, troubleshooting, and implementing best practices to drive consumer trust.
  • Opera & Salsify Systems Lead: You will serve as the local technical lead for our PIM/DAM systems, responsible for creating and updating export channels, managing access, and ensuring the technical health of our content distribution.
  • IP Compliance: You will act as the local lead for our IP rights processes, ensuring full compliance with Intellectual Property (IP) rights and facilitating necessary trainings to the teams to mitigate legal risks.

Your profile

For this role, we are seeking an organized and tech-savvy E-commerce professional who thrives at the intersection of marketing content and digital operations. You possess a deep understanding of how content drives the consumer journey online, and you are capable of designing and implementing work processes involving multiple stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • 3-7 years of experience in E-commerce, Content Management, or Digital Operations (FMCG experience is a plus).
  • Proven expertise with PIM/DAM systems (Salsify and Opera experience is highly preferred).
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and external agencies.
  • An analytical mindset capable of translating Digital Shelf KPIs (NIQ) into actionable content and activation strategies.
  • Strong communication skills to lead "tribes" and influence cross-divisional stakeholders.
  • A hands-on approach to troubleshooting and system optimization.

What do we offer?

When you start at L'Oréal, you get a great deal of responsibility from day one. To develop, we offer an introduction program and an individual training program. Training can be local or at the global headquarters in Paris. An enriching experience where you will meet international peers.

And furthermore you will find with us:

  • An inspiring work environment with ambitious colleagues, where working Agile is the norm;
  • A healthy career perspective with good development and career opportunities;
  • Good secondary employment conditions, such as a 13th month, profit sharing, discount on medical expenses and a favorable pension scheme;
  • Discount on L'Oréal products
  • Nice extras such as various sporting company activities.

Finally, a great added value of working at L'Oréal is that you will be working with so many different people and functions. This offers you the opportunity to broaden your knowledge about different stakeholders.
