What the Finance Engineering Intern role looks like

We are looking for a full-time BI Engineering Intern to join our team in Amsterdam this summer. This is a hands-on role sitting at the intersection of finance, data, and technology — you will help us bring financial and product data into our BI tools, build AI-powered automations, and reduce manual work across the finance team. We welcome candidates from business, social sciences, or engineering backgrounds who have a genuine interest in AI and its practical applications.

Please note that this position is not available for thesis writing, and we expect the intern to be present in our Amsterdam office at least two days per week.

Some of your key tasks

• Automating manual finance processes and making the team AI-ready by building smart tools and workflows using the latest AI technologies.
• Supporting the BI team in bringing financial and product data into our BI platform, enabling stakeholders to make better decisions and contribute to commercial conversations.
• Building and maintaining financial tools and dashboards that provide reliable, real-time visibility into the company's financial performance.

What you will bring to the team

• A genuine interest in AI and hands-on experience with AI tools
• The ability to work with data — collecting, structuring, and visualizing it in a meaningful way
• An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into clear insights
• A proactive, self-driven attitude with the ability to take ownership of projects in a fast-moving environment
