Job Description

As a Project Manager NPI at NTS Eindhoven, you lead multiple teams that together set up the production process for high-tech (sub)assemblies in the Analytical and Semiconductor industry. Your central task is clear: you lead new products from the development phase to stable, repeatable series production.

The special aspect of this role is that the product to be realized is still in full development during the setup of the production process. This requires close collaboration with the customer's development department, usually an OEM in the analytical or semiconductor sector. You ensure optimal alignment between functional product requirements and manufacturability in product and process design, serving as the connecting link between the customer, engineering, and production.

In your role, you are responsible for the QLTC objectives of the project: Quality, Logistics, Technology, and Costs. You set targets in consultation with all stakeholders, monitor progress against the set milestones, and make adjustments as needed. At the same time, you are the commercial point of contact towards the customer and work closely with account management.

You lead a multidisciplinary project team consisting of Supplier Quality Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, and Assembly. You maintain an overview, set clear priorities, and create the conditions for your team to perform optimally.

Furthermore, your responsibilities include:

• Defining scope and QLTC targets for the project in consultation with all stakeholders;
• Translating these targets into a supported project plan with the customer and the project team;
• Achieving a commercial agreement in collaboration with account management;
• Planning and controlling the project in terms of milestones, QLTC frameworks, and introduced changes;
• Periodically reporting on progress, both internally and towards the customer.

Requirements

We are looking for a result-oriented and communicatively strong Project Manager with the following background:

• Completed HBO+/WO degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Technical Business Administration;
• Extensive experience as a Project Manager in multidisciplinary and complex technical projects;
• Knowledge of project management techniques such as PRINCE2, PMI, or IPMA;
• Broad knowledge of prototype construction and the development and improvement of production processes;
• Demonstrable experience in the semiconductor and/or analytical industry;
• Knowledge of and experience with Lean and Six Sigma;
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both written and spoken.
