This role is for a Production Engineering & Maintenance Manager.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead production engineering and maintenance teams within the OHC value stream to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations by driving equipment availability, process stability, and continuous improvement.
  • Define and execute maintenance strategy (preventive/predictive) to ensure high equipment reliability.
  • Oversee uptime maximization & machine availability through structured problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Work closely with the production manager to proactively drive escalations in manufacturing to secure supply towards our customers.
  • Drive Capex optimization for recurring manufacturing investments to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and boost productivity.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the operational teams within the OHC value stream to achieve operational goals and deliver reliable, high-quality results.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop team capability through coaching, skill development, and performance management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver value stream targets.
  • Drive productivity and cost improvements across engineering and maintenance operations.
  • Support new product introductions by defining manufacturing requirements and ensuring smooth industrialization.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles, TPM and continuous improvement methods, employing methodologies to streamline production processes, minimize waste, optimize resource utilization, and enhance overall efficiency within the manufacturing environment.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Sciences, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
  • 8+ years’ experience in high-volume manufacturing (production engineering and/or maintenance).
  • 3+ years’ leadership experience managing technical or operational teams.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong Lean, TPM, OEE-Stratification and continuous improvement expertise.
  • KPI-driven and results-oriented mindset.
  • Solid knowledge of maintenance, reliability engineering, and asset management.
  • Experience with budgeting and planning.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-driven, with ability to translate insights into shop floor actions.
  • Strong safety mindset (EHS).
  • Hands-on, structured, and decisive leader with clear communication.
