The Area Data Capabilities

The Area Data Capabilities is responsible for implementing the foundational IT data capabilities that support the W&R domain. As the central expertise hub for Client and Party Data, Document Management, Management Information, Data Access, Data Availability, Data Analytics, and Cognitive Capture, the Area ensures that W&R can rely on a robust and future‑ready data landscape.

We achieve this in close cooperation with the Data Expertise Team, ensuring seamless collaboration across the tribe. We structure data and create valuable insights for our stakeholders in the client journey to improve their decision making and client service. By providing real‑time insights at the fingertips of our colleagues, we empower them to make fast, data‑driven decisions that strengthen our value delivery.

The Area Data Capabilities is product‑agnostic and acts as an enabler for the Value Chain Areas, providing the essential data foundations they depend on. A key responsibility of this Area is maintaining an “In Control” posture and ensuring business continuity by safeguarding the stability and reliability of the data systems within its scope.

Deliver Results

  • Take ownership and responsibility for the quality of the squad's architecture and realized technical solutions
  • Design robust systems that are easy to operate and maintain and that can last a long time while undergoing changes continuously in a fast paced IT ecosystem
  • Pro-actively monitor market developments and implement them within your area
