Looking for a fast‑paced, international, and meaningful start of your career? This is where you belong! Launch your career with impact at Royal Terberg Group and help shape the future of sustainable mobility.

Why this traineeship?

From day one you will be involved in decisions that have a direct impact on our work.

As a trainee you will contribute to real (international) projects from day one, while exploring various parts of our organisation. This program is designed for young professionals who want responsibility, learn quickly, and grow into leadership roles within a global, innovative, family-owned company.

What you will do?

Your traineeship lasts 24 months and consists of three assignments of approximately eight months each, based on your finance background. Two assignments are in the Netherlands and one takes place at one of our international locations. You will be part of a group of five trainees who are each completing their Management Traineeship in a different discipline or assignment.

One of your trainee assignments at Royal Terberg Group could focus on building financial forecasting models that directly impact our (international) operations. You could get the chance to analyze the process, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement changes that make a real difference across the organization.

You will work directly with team members, day-to-day operations and data to help identify and implement improvements. Throughout the project, you will receive support and guidance to develop your skills while making a meaningful impact.

In summary, you will get the chance to:

  • Lead or contribute to business projects with measurable impact
  • Work closely with colleagues from different countries and disciplines
  • Build a strong internal and international network
  • Take ownership as you develop your skills
  • Gain experience in both operational environments and strategic settings

Your development

Your growth is at the centre of the program. We support you through:

  • Personal coaching and mentoring
  • Leadership and skills training
  • Regular feedback and guidance
  • Exposure to senior leaders and cross divisional teams
  • Challenging assignments that stretch your capabilities

After the traineeship

Towards the end of the program, we will determine your next step within the organisation, together. This could be a first leadership or project management role, either in the Netherlands or abroad, depending on your strengths, interests and ambitions.

What you bring

You are at the start of your career and ready to learn quickly, work internationally and make a difference. You bring:

  • A completed or nearly completed Master degree in Finance
  • Maximum of two years of work experience
  • Curiosity, initiative and a hands-on mentality
  • The ability to build relationships and work across cultures
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Dutch is a plus, not required.
  • Willingness to travel and work abroad

If you don’t meet every requirement but believe you fit the role, we encourage you to apply. Motivation and learning ability matter just as much as experience.

What we offer

  • The opportunity to help shape the future of sustainable mobility
  • A collaborative, informal working culture
  • A competitive starting salary of €3,200 gross per month
  • Attractive employment conditions, including hybrid working options
  • Personal development through training, coaching and mentoring
  • International exposure through a placement abroad
