By ensuring bol becomes and remains a compliant financial service provider. As a Junior CDD Analyst, you perform Client Due Diligence in the Netherlands and Belgium. Your focus is on onboarding and reboarding reviews with low to moderate risk profiles. You process (sometimes) large volumes accurately and efficiently, while rapidly building the CDD knowledge and system experience you need to progress to more complex cases. In doing so, you protect 13.7 million customers and 47,000 partners against financial economic crime, while ensuring bol’s licensed entities comply with DNB, AFM, and FSMA regulations.
Combining productivity and quality. You work with established systems (primarily Duna) and follow internal frameworks and instructions. Your reviews are less complex than those of your mid-level and senior colleagues, but they still demand a critical eye, precision, and speed. The key to success: staying sharp while processing volume and learning from every case to build your CDD expertise. This job isn’t a final destination but a stepping stone toward greater complexity and responsibility.
You’ll work within the CDD team that performs Client Due Diligence for bol financial services (bfs). You’ll report to the Manager of CDD Operations and work alongside mid-level and senior analysts who inspire and guide you. In this role, you’ll perform onboarding and reboarding reviews for the Netherlands and Belgium. You’ll primarily manage low to moderate-risk cases within established frameworks. This allows you to learn how to effectively combine internal systems (Duna, screening tools) to assess reviews, building your CDD knowledge step by step. As you gain experience, you’ll gradually perform more complex reviews. Your main responsibilities:
You combine approximately 3 years of relevant work experience with an eager-to-learn attitude and an eye for detail. You’re fast, accurate, and energized by completing large volumes without ever compromising on quality. You have a clear affinity with compliance, financial services, or e-commerce, and look forward to building CDD expertise in a licensed setting. You are highly structured, follow instructions meticulously, and know when escalation is the only right path.
Complexity seeker You want to dive into high-risk cases immediately; learning the basics feels like a waste of time.
Variety addict Repetitive work sounds like a nightmare, and operating within frameworks feels confining.
Made-bed fan You'd prefer a job at a dedicated financial institution.
Proactive production powerhouse You can handle high volumes and are eager to shrink the backlog.
Voracious learner You see every review as an opportunity to build your CDD knowledge and look forward to taking on more complex cases.
Detail-driven Overlooking details? Not your style. You consistently meet all the criteria.
You’ll join the CDD team within bol’s FinTech organization, performing Client Due Diligence for bfs. You’ll report to the Manager of CDD Operations and work alongside mid-level and senior analysts, Quality Reviewers, and Compliance colleagues. The team is building a completely new CDD capability from 2026 onward, so you’ll be there from the very beginning. The atmosphere is professional and results-driven: we focus on compliance functions that enable innovation, and never block it. Growth toward mid-level and beyond is realistic, especially given the planned scale-up to 25–40 team members within two years.
