The Data Technology department is responsible for data applications and enrichment for reporting purposes, with core activities in data ingestion, transformation, and preparation so data can be reliably consumed across the organization. Within Robeco, Data Technology also contributes to the continued modernization of the data landscape, including the move toward the Modern Data Platform (MDP) with technologies such as Snowflake, Airflow and dbt. In the Product Statics domain, the team works with the vendor tool Fundipedia to improve the way product static data is maintained and delivered to downstream users and vendors.

Position & Requirements

This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work in the Product Statics team (Data Technology) and gain real experience with Fundipedia, Robeco’s product static data management platform. Fundipedia is positioned internally as the new product static data platform, supporting more robust ways of working with product data.

You will support the team in day-to-day operational activities, learn how data quality is safeguarded, and help improve how we handle incidents and changes. You will also support Agile meetings and team routines, giving you practical exposure to collaboration and delivery in an Agile environment.

The full-time internships typically last around 4–5 months.

Internship focus areas

Depending on your background and interests, activities may include:

• Fundipedia Support and Configuration: you will work with the team on configuration tasks in Fundipedia and learn how product static data is maintained and controlled. Tasks will include configuring workflows, field restrictions, approvals, and other enhancements focusing on improving data quality.

• Stakeholder Management and Requirement Gathering: you will work with our business partners to determine the best way to improve the tool and our internal processes while enforcing data governance policies.

• Incident management & operational improvements: you will help with small research and improvement topics around incident handling: identifying patterns, improving documentation, and supporting follow-ups so recurring issues are reduced over time.

• Agile team support: you will support Agile ceremonies (for example: planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives) and help keep actions and insights well captured so the team can continuously improve.

• Learning & enablement: you will be encouraged to learn and build confidence quickly, supported by internal knowledge sharing and trainings that are part of Robeco’s MDP onboarding and enablement approach.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking HBO or WO students in areas such as Information Technology, Data / Business Analytics, Informatics, (Technical) Business Administration or related fields. You are curious about how data is managed in a real business environment, and you enjoy combining structured and analytical thinking with practical execution. You like working in teams, you are not afraid to ask questions, and you are motivated to learn a modern toolset while contributing to a running team. Furthermore, you bring strong communication and collaboration skills.

To join the internship, you should be enrolled at an HBO/WO institution for the entire period of the internship and be available full time for a period of 4-5 months. In case you are a non-EU citizen, you should be studying at a Dutch HBO / WO institution.
