For the role of Plant Initiative Lead at the JDE factory in Joure, we are looking for an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn colleague with strong project management skills. As a Plant Initiative Lead, you are responsible for NPD projects within the factory.

As a Plant Initiative Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • NPD projects (new products and packaging materials)
  • Coordination of master data
  • Phase-in and phase-out of packaging materials and products
  • Minimizing obsolete costs
  • Acting as a key point of contact for the factory towards R&D, D2P, MSUs, and Procurement

Where will you work?

As a Plant Initiative Lead, you will be part of the enthusiastic Planning & Logistics team, consisting of a logistics engineer, warehouse team leader, delivery planners, production schedulers, and material planners. In this role, you report to the Manager Planning & Logistics.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through strong decision-making, effective prioritization, and excellent time management
  • A high level of drive and self-motivation; ambitious and willing to go the extra mile
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across different levels of the organization
  • Preferably familiarity with JDE and/or KBU processes
