Are you the technically skilled Maintenance Engineer who gets energy from implementing smart improvements, making strategic choices, and realizing sustainable solutions? And do you excel at collaboration and solving complex technical challenges? Then we would love to meet you.

Your role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring our plant performs at its best. You safeguard the balance between technical performance, cost, and risk. Even under pressure, you remain rational and make decisions based on well considered interests.

Thanks to your strong communication skills, you are the go to person for asset management, maintenance processes, and technical oversight.

You are given the space to grow, experiment, and truly make an impact on the reliability and future readiness of our plant. You will work in a close knit team, with modern technologies and challenging projects where your organizational skills, problem solving mindset, and collaboration with colleagues make the difference. You are in the driver’s seat, and we actively encourage ownership and decision making within your area.

What will you be doing?

  • You are responsible for the technical availability and legal compliance within your assigned area of the plant.
  • You monitor and analyze equipment condition and translate this into a long term maintenance plan, which forms input for planned maintenance activities, annual plans, and investment plans. You also monitor execution progress in your area, discuss deviations, and set priorities.
  • You manage maintenance plans in SAP and define the scope for maintenance shutdowns, ensuring careful scoping and weighing risks when considering additions after the scope freeze.
  • You perform root cause analyses for complex failures and implement sustainable improvements; this is where your problem solving skills truly shine. You do this not alone, but by involving both internal and external experts to achieve results together.
  • You initiate replacement investments and equipment improvements. Depending on the scope, you either lead the project yourself or contribute within a multidisciplinary team, with collaboration at the core.

You play an important role in modification and conversion projects by developing maintenance concepts and aligning them with other disciplines. Even when an asset unexpectedly fails and decisions must be made under time pressure, you maintain oversight and communicate clearly with all stakeholders.
