About SkinVision:

Skin cancer cases are growing at an alarming rate globally. In fact, 1 in 5 people will get skin cancer, but only 3% of the high-risk population is known to the health authorities.

At SkinVision, we are on a mission to save the lives of 250,000 people in the next ten years by revolutionizing skin care management. Our technology allows users to take ownership of their skin health, recognizing (early) signs of skin cancer from anywhere, at any time, by combining the recommendations of AI and dermatologists.

In this Head of Finance role at SkinVision:

You combine strong financial expertise with analytical rigor and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

What You Will Do:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning cycles
• Develop and maintain financial models for revenue, cost structure, and cash flow
• Analyze revenue streams, pricing models, and unit economics
• Support scenario planning (e.g., market expansion, regulatory changes, funding rounds)

Business Partnering

• Act as a trusted advisor to commercial, product, and operations teams
• Provide financial insights to support go-to-market strategies and growth initiatives
• Monitor KPIs including ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, gross margin, and burn rate
• Translate operational performance into financial impact

Performance Management

• Establish dashboards and reporting frameworks for executive leadership
• Drive monthly and quarterly performance reviews
• Identify risks and opportunities and propose corrective actions

Financial Control & Governance

• Strengthen financial processes, internal controls, and compliance
• Support audit processes and regulatory reporting (where applicable)
• Ensure alignment with financial healthcare regulations and quality standards

Strategic Finance

• Support fundraising, investor reporting, and board materials
• Contribute to valuation modeling and strategic transactions
• Evaluate partnerships, licensing agreements, and international expansion initiatives

Job requirements

What We Are Looking For:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, or Strategic Finance
• Strong background in financial modelling and analysis
• Experience working closely with founders and senior leadership
• Experience in HealthTech, MedTech, SaaS, AI, or other regulated industries preferred
• Understanding of Dutch language and system is a plus

Technical Skills

• Strong financial modeling and forecasting capabilities
• Experience with SaaS metrics and subscription-based revenue models
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker)
• Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g. Exact Online) and financial reporting tools
