Overview

DNV is an independent expert in assurance and risk management, driven by its purpose to safeguard life, property, and the environment.

About Energy Systems

Energy Systems helps customers navigate the transition to a decarbonized and more sustainable energy future by assuring that energy systems work safely and effectively, using solutions that are increasingly digital. The team also supports industries and governments in navigating complex transitions in the energy industry.

About the role

Within the Northern Europe People team, DNV is looking for an ambitious, future-ready Junior HR Advisor (Analytics, Reporting and Projects) with a can-do mentality.

You will work with colleagues who live the values of caring, daring and sharing. The Northern Europe People Team is spread across Norway, the Netherlands and Germany. This position is based in Arnhem (the Netherlands).

You will have opportunities to develop yourself and build your career further within DNV, supported by a growth mindset and room to learn from mistakes.

In this role, you will support the people team by:

  • Creating analytics and monthly reports to facilitate data-driven decisions within (strategic) people initiatives, using HRIS and PowerBI
  • Owning the project management administration of various people initiatives in an effective and consistent way across the region
  • Supporting people managers in the rollout of these initiatives by developing change/communication plans
  • Bringing actionable suggestions forward to further digitize tasks and processes in the people domain and trying them out
  • Answering questions from line managers about the pulse survey (engagement), the performance and development process (MIP), feedback, recognition, change and training

This role is offered as a 1-year contract and represents an excellent early-career opportunity for an HR professional looking to grow.

What we offer

  • Great atmosphere of working together with professionals and some of the most engaged and knowledgeable people in the industry
  • Guidance from colleagues through coaching, mentoring and participation in international networks
  • Opportunities to advance your professional skills and technical expertise

About you

This role is a stepping stone for candidates who have recently graduated in HR (master’s or bachelor’s degree) and want to start a career in an international company with a clear purpose. DNV is looking for someone who brings complementary skills and competencies to the team, alongside a good dose of humor, willingness to learn and a proactive attitude.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate analytical skills: You can dissect complex issues, organize your thoughts, and solve problems effectively
  • Show strategic thinking: You align your work with overarching goals, showing a keen willingness to learn and advance within your role
  • Embody a collaborative spirit: You excel in teamwork settings and adapt to new challenges and changes
  • Exhibit technological proficiency: You are skilled in using technology and AI to find efficiencies and enhance productivity
  • Be quality focused: You prioritize high standards in your work, aiming for accuracy and punctuality in all tasks
  • Have language skills: You are fluent in English and facilitate clear communication within a diverse team and stakeholders

Security and compliance with statutory requirements in the countries in which DNV operates is essential. Background checks will be conducted on all final candidates as part of the offer process, in accordance with applicable country-specific laws and practices.
