ASICS is looking for a Product Line Specialist to help manage the creation of seasonal product collections and ensure each release aligns with the seasonal calendar, consumer needs, and merchandising requirements.

Your role in our shared journey

Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by managing the creation of seasonal product collections and ensuring that each release is in line with the seasonal calendar, consumer needs and merchandising requirements. You'll play a crucial role in balancing commercial targets with product excellence, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative sporting goods that embody our belief that a sound mind lives in a sound body.

Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Manage the seasonal product lifecycle for the specific categories throughout all development milestones, including design reviews, material selection, prototype reviews, and sample reviews.
  • Achieve seasonal gross margin percentage targets through effective cost management and pricing strategies.
  • Recommend appropriate retail prices and establish target FOB costs for product lines.
  • Manage and maintain accurate product data within the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system.
  • Collaborate closely with creation teams, including Design, Development, Sourcing, and Materials departments, to ensure product excellence.
  • Coordinate with regional and country merchandising teams to align product plans with market trends and consumer demands.

You have the following skills:

  • 4-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in sporting goods.
  • Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
  • Advanced analytical skills for data management.
  • Understanding of performance sports and lifestyle trends.
  • Fluent English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
